ROBERTO VERZICCO

Roberto Verzicco is a full professor of fluid dynamics at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Università di Roma Tor Vergata, and part-time professor of direct numerical simulation of turbulence at the Physics of Fluids group at the University of Enschede.

His research interests include CFD, direct simulation of turbulence, large eddy simulation and heat transfer, and geophysical and industrial flows.

Roberto is a member of the American Physical Society and EUROMECH, and serves on the editorial board of Computers & Fluids, Flows Turbulence and Combustion, and Acta Mechanica. He is a reviewer for more than a dozen scientific journals, including the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Journal of Computational Physics and Physics of Fluids.
