KARALIT previews 3D CFD software at AIAA show

Pula (Italy), January 2012 KARALIT, the computational fluid dynamic (CFD) software provider, is previewing its revolutionary 3D software at the 50th AIAA Aerospace Science Meeting in Nashville Tenn., 9th-12th January 2012.

KARALIT CFD is based on three revolutionary and disruptive technologies:
  • Immersed Boundary: this method allows CAD geometries or scanned data to be immersed directly into a background Cartesian mesh. Lengthy mesh generation is eliminated, typically saving up to 99% of pre-processing time.
  • Customized apps: this innovative approach assembles bodies/blocks into customizable layouts suited to specific applications, enabling users to go from CAD to CFD simulation in minutes.
  • Automatic connectivity: this feature recognizes boundary conditions and connectivity between contiguous blocks. All conservative non-conformal boundary conditions are automatically identified and constructed by the software, resulting in faster and more intuitive setup.

“The revolution brought by KARALIT CFD gives analysts and users the freedom to move from CAD to simulation in minute," says Marco Mulas, KARALIT CTO and founder. "With KARALIT, the focus is where it should be - on the fluid flow analysis; pre-processing the way it was known traditionally is gone for good.”

“We are proud to preview our commercial release at the 50th AIAA Conference in Nashville as we are sure that the Aerospace community can benefit from this innovative approach to CFD.”

KARALIT CFD software will be available soon to customers worldwide through direct Sales Offices in the USA and Europe. For more info and a demonstration, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
